About Your Captain

Captain Mike Clark is a USCG Licensed Captain possessing a 100 Ton Master license with Assistance Towing Endorsement.  As the son of a Navy Admiral, Captain Mike had the opportunity to grow up around the water, fishing a wide variety of water from the time he was 10 years old.  While in college, Captain Mike worked as a deckhand on the commercial fishing vessel Marion Frances, fishing out of Barnegat Light, NJ.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Dress appropriately for the weather conditions, if you are unsure, call Capt Mike.

    Bring and wear sunscreen.

    Bring any food or drink you would like, we have coolers on the boat.

  • If we have to cancel due to weather or water conditions then we will try to reschedule you for another day. There is never a charge if we cancel your charter because of weather or water conditions. Captain will have the final say if the charter needs to be postponed due to wind or weather.

  • No person may operate a recreation vessel on federal waters with any child under age 13 on the vessel unless each child is either:

    • Wearing an appropriate U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket; or below deck or in an enclosed cabin.

    • This federal law is enforced by the U.S. Coast Guard. Most waters in Virginia are considered federal waters.
